Starz Classes and Programs…

Our non-competitive classes offer each student the opportunity to expand their knowledge of dance. Our staff uses the latest teaching methods and positive reinforcement to inspire students to keep reaching for their "star". Is additions to developing technique, students will learn exciting dance routines to be performed at our Winter Showcaes and Annual Dance Revue.

The Rizing Starz program is designed for our most serious dance students. Participation in this program requires an evaluation for placement. The Rizing Starz curriculum uses ballet as the foundation for all dance forms. In addition to ballet, students will be taught jazz, modern, lyrical, tap, acro, pointe leaps, turns, partnering, hip hop and choreography. These dancers form The Rizing Starz Performance Company, our award-winning dance company that has won regional and national awards, as well as performed at various community shows and programs.

Our dance season begins in August and ends with a dance revue in the beginning of June. We offer classes in the following dance forms:

Tiny Starz (2-3 year olds) –
25-minute classes: Ballet, Creative Movement, Tap and Tumbling

Pre-Starz Level 1 (3-4 year olds) –
40-minute classes: Ballet, Creative Movement, Tap and Tumbling

Pre-Starz Level 2 (4-5 year olds) –
40-minute classes: Ballet, Creative Movement/Jazz, Tap and Tumbling

Super Combo Level (5-7 year olds) –
55-minute classes: Ballet, Jazz,Tap and Tumbling

Junior Acrobatics or Junior Hip Hop (5-7 year olds) –
40-minute classes

Beginner and Upper Level Martial Artz (5 years and up) –
55-minute classes

Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics or Hip Hop (8 years and up) –
55-minute classes

Adult Ballet (18 years and up) –
55-minute classes

Adult Hip Hop (18 years and up) –
55-minute classes

Other Programs…

Afterschool Pick-up – Starz offers afterschool program with transportation to the studio and is a great alternative to normal afterschool day care. Thei five-day program includes a 55-minute dance class every day, supervised homework time, play time and a snack in a loving environment. Please call the office for more information.

Tuition is paid in 11 equal, monthly installments. Tuition must be paid by the 7th of each month to avoid a late fee. We accept EXACT cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Debit as forms of payment. We do not accept checks. We do offer an autopay program for your convenience.

Starz Studios requires a dress code for all students participating in classes. Dress code information sheets are available at the Starz Studios office.
