Michelle Colon has been dancing for the past 29 years. Her training includes all forms of dance from local and world-renowned instructors. Michelle has won numerous awards and national titles, and has been awarded scholarships to Broadway Dance Center in New York, and Tremaine Dance Center in Los Angeles. Her credits include Capezio Model, Taffy's Model, HBJ Model, "Welcome Freshman", "Clarissa Explains It All", "Fifteen", "Mickey Mouse Club", SeaWorld, Wet-n-Wild, Florida Lottery, and "Parenthood". Her students have been awarded regional and national awards through her instruction and choreography.

Ms. Michelle and Starz Studios were voted one of the top 50 studios in the country by Dance Spirit, as well as Dance Spirit & Dance Teacher's 2006 Yearbook. Starz was the only studio in Cental Florida to win these prestigious honors and awards. In the summer of 2008, Ms. Michelle was recognized as one of the top 25 studios, and has repeated this honor in 2009 as well.

Michelle's love for dance has led her to a successful career in dance instruction. She feels that she can make every child a "star" by giving the the proper training, love and encouragement necessary to help each student reach their full potential.
